When I edit, go back, delete, cut, clarify, saturate, equalize, filter, produce. Composing and improvising are two different emergencies of the same creative force. Complementary. Overlapping. In music. In photography. Everything. Sometimes you improvise. Sometimes you compose. But it’s always you who decides. You create. Gear is a tool, you and what you do are not determined by what you own. Influences? All. Inspiration? Life itself. I almost forgot: I’m also a scientist. But that’s another story… :-)
